President Trump, Vermont Governor Scott and some house democrats have expressed interest in banning at least flavored vaping products…
The Libertarian Party believes that government force must be limited to the protection of the rights of individuals to life, liberty, and property, and governments must never be permitted to violate these rights. Laws should be limited in their application to violations of the rights of others through force or fraud, or to deliberate actions that place others involuntarily at significant risk of harm. Therefore, we favor the repeal of all laws creating “crimes” without victims including all laws related to the use of drugs for medicinal or recreational purposes for adults. Meaning bans on any vaping or e-cigarette products should not exist. Here is the Libertarian Party Platform for more info.

Excerpt from “Libertarians, vaping industry condemn Trump vaping ban“
Libertarian Party officials joined vaping industry members in criticizing President Donald Trump’s plans to recommend a ban on the sale of flavored vaping products, a decision he announced Wednesday morning.
“Once again, we see government stepping on the rights of the many in response to the actions of a few,” said Daniel Fishman, Libertarian Party Executive Director. “This kind of knee-jerk reaction skips past bad policy and right into state control of established businesses by telling them what they can and can’t sell in their stores. That’s not how business is done in America.”
The announcement of a federal ban comes on the heels of a similar state-level ban announced by Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) last week which was met with bipartisan support. A spokeswoman for Michigan Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirley (R-Clarklake) affirmed the Governor’s standing to enact such a ban.

My god. The intense stupidity of this logic:
1) Black market vape cartridges made people sick, so
2) let's pass a bunch of regulations to push more popular types of vape cartridges into that same black market.
3) Lives will be saved!
Wait, no. THAT WON'T WORK AT ALL. Argh. https://t.co/L2V3YUf4EM

Can someone please explain to me how the executive branch moving to ban a product nationwide is Constitutional, let alone “conservative”?

Libertarian party defends our freedoms and right to vape flavors that saved lives. Trump is taking away liberties from US citizens and blaming illegal THC cartridges for deaths.

@realDonaldTrump @parscale Your time to save the vape vote is running out. The libertarian party has taken up our cause to protect flavored vaping and it will get the 13 million vaper votes and millions more from family members. You will not be reelected without us #WeVapeWeVote https://t.co/jlKYwejC63

That aspect of vape and harm reduction movement never ceases to amaze me. This libertarian stands arm in arm with others with whom I disagree completely on many/most public policy issues and almost considers those brothers and sisters family … ultimately it's why we will win.

Today, we'll be sharing stories of small business owners facing financial ruin over knee-jerk bans on #vape products. These bans only strengthen black market products linked to health issues. Join us in stopping this at https://t.co/zmrdQLXypV#VapeBan … https://t.co/X2CB5yuUoc

The evidence is clear: bans don't work. In fact, they just make potentially dangerous black market products more common, and hurt small businesses trying to get ahead. Help us stop this at https://t.co/3M2R6wknbz#vape #vapeban #ivapeivote #WeVapeWeVote https://t.co/Qkz6dnIZZD
