Jeff Kaufer, Vermont Libertarian Party State Committee member and State Senate Candidate, Passed Away
We learned at the last state committee meeting that Jeff Kaufer passed away 2 weeks ago from Multiple Myeloma (Bone Marrow Cancer). Jeff Kaufer most recently ran as Libertarian for State Senate in Bennington county last year. Jeff was one of our more active members.
Jeff helped organize Shaftsbury the last few times and decided to run for office last year in 2018. Jeff also organized Bennington county.
I didn’t know him too well, but it was joy working with him and we appreciate the work he did to help keep the party recognized by the state of Vermont and to help spread the ideas of libertarianism through his campaign despite his illness.
Thank you Jeff Kaufer for your contributions to the cause of liberty and rest in peace.
